WHAT APPLIES WHEN I BOOK ACCOMMODATION, APARTMENT OR ROOM.
CLARIFICATION REGARDING CHANGE OR CANCELLATION CONDITIONS DUE TO CORONA
In the event of a decision by the authorities that entails a travel ban where Funäsfjällen is also covered, Funäs Resort AB offers free rebooking or cancellation with a refund in addition to the registration fee.
Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before the booked arrival date, by e-mail: info@funasresort.se or by post.
Free rebooking is only possible on one occasion, with arrival within 12 months.
The above rules also apply to Group Bookings.

WHEN DOES MY BOOKING BECOME BINDING?
It is the Guest's responsibility to check the confirmation and to ensure that the arrival and departure dates are correct. The reservation is valid for both the booking centre and the guest as soon as the registration fee or the full rent is paid.
WHEN SHOULD I PAY?
You must pay the price invoiced for your booking, plus or minus any changes in taxes or other unforeseen costs that have occurred since the price list was printed. Payment must be made by the dates shown on the invoice. In the case of late bookings, the rent must be paid before occupancy.
WHAT HAPPENS IF I DON'T PAY ON TIME?
If you do not pay the registration fee on time, your booking will be cancelled. Please note that no payment reminder will be sent out. If You miss the payment of the final balance of the booking, this will also count as a cancellation on Your part, and You will have to pay the cancellation costs as set out in the Special Conditions.
WHAT IF I WANT TO CANCEL?
You can cancel by email: info@funasresort.se or by telephone +46(0)705-82 75 40 and +46(0)684-212 45 or by letter.
You are responsible for ensuring that your information has been received.
Cancellations made to someone other than the person from whom your confirmation was issued do not count. In the event of cancellation, the rules set out in the Special Conditions apply. Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before arrival.
BUT WHAT IF SOMETHING HAPPENS TO ME?
You can protect yourself against the cost of cancellation by purchasing cancellation protection. This means that you can cancel up to the day before the agreed arrival date for a handling fee of SEK 495 plus the cost of the cancellation protection. In the event of unforeseen circumstances, the following applies: The rules also apply to group or school trips.
The above rules apply to cancellations in the following cases:
Death, serious illness or accident involving yourself, your spouse, partner, family or fellow travellers.
Call-up to the armed forces or civil defence.
Serious event beyond your control and which could not have been foreseen at the time of booking.
You must be able to prove that you are unable to attend with a certificate from e.g. a doctor, authority or insurance company. The certificate must be received by us no later than one week after the cancellation date.
WHAT ARE MY RIGHTS?
If we do not provide the accommodation/flat/room in the condition promised, or at the right time, and are unable to offer you another equivalent alternative, you have the right to terminate the contract and receive compensation less what you have already used.
AS LESSORS AND INTERMEDIARIES, WE HAVE A DUTY OF CARE:
You will receive a written confirmation of your booking.
Services purchased are as described. We are not responsible for promises that suppliers, partners or their contact person may have made directly to you without our knowledge.
You will be informed of any significant changes concerning your booking.
You may use the accommodation/apartment/room from 16:00 on the agreed day of arrival until 11:00 on the day of departure, unless otherwise confirmed.
WHAT ARE MY OBLIGATIONS AS A TRAVELLER?
You must take good care of the accommodation/apartment/room and comply with the regulations in force. You are personally responsible for any damage caused to the property and its furnishings by your negligence or that of a member of your party.
You may not use the accommodation/apartment/room for anything other than what was agreed at the time of booking, and you may not allow more people to stay in the accommodation than you stated at the time of booking.
In case of self-catering without cleaning service, it is your responsibility to clean properly before departure. Missed or poor cleaning will be charged with a fee of 2000 - 5000 SEK.
Violations of smoking and pet bans are charged with a fee of SEK 2000 - 5000.
The minimum age for at least one person in the party is 18 years.
OTHER
The accommodation/apartment/room is equipped for self-catering. Please note that the accommodation price does not include cleaning, bed linen, towels, toilet paper/household paper, cot/child seat unless otherwise agreed at the time of booking on the confirmation.
WHAT HAPPENS IF WE DON'T REACH AN AGREEMENT?
Complaints about the accommodation/apartment/room should be made to us as soon as possible, but no later than 17:00 the day after arrival. Errors that occur during your stay must be reported immediately, in the first instance to the reception of the holiday home or by PHONE +46(0)708 24 06 65 or us (Funäs Resort AB), so that they/we have a chance to correct the problem.
We also need the complaints in writing for our handling, these are sent to info@funasresort.se. If we cannot reach an agreement, you can turn to the General Complaints Board. It consists of an impartial chairman and representatives of tour operators and consumers. The Board's address is: Box 523, 161 15 Vällingby.
SPECIAL CONDITIONS
The registration fee of 20% is payable at the time of booking.
Final payment 40 days before arrival, or if the booking is made later than 40 days before arrival, full payment will be charged directly.
In addition to the registration fee, cancellation insurance and telephone booking fees may apply.
COST OF CANCELLATION INSURANCE
495 SEK per booking.
COSTS IN CASE OF CANCELLATION
With cancellation protection:
This means that in some cases you can cancel up to and including the day before the agreed arrival date for a handling fee of SEK 495 and the cost of the cancellation insurance. You must be able to prove your impediment with a certificate from e.g. a doctor, authority or insurance company. The certificate must be received by us no later than one week after the cancellation date.
Without cancellation insurance:
If cancelled less than 40 days before arrival, we will keep the registration fee (25% of the booking) From 40 days - to the day of arrival, no refund will be given.
The cancellation must be received by Parkstigens Fjällby - Kåvan (Funäs Resort AB) before the trip would have started - no later than 24 hours.
CHANGE COST & REBOOKING
200 SEK per booking and event, provided that cancellation insurance is taken out at the time of booking. Changes can be made up to 40 days before arrival, subject to availability.
Transfer of accommodation can be done before the day of departure and notified to the booking office or us via info@funasresort.se. The rebooking cost is 495 SEK per item. Please note that changing the arrival or departure date counts as a rebooking.
Snow guarantee (for dates see Destination Funäsfjällen website www.funasfjallen.se)
At least five downhill runs or 20 km of cross-country trails shall be skiable during the season. During pre-season 3 km of tracks. If not, we will refund the cost of unused days, for purchased ski passes/track passes and accommodation booked via Parkstigens Fjällby - Kåvan (Funäs Resort AB)
