Parkstigens Fjällby is located in Kåvan at the foot of Funäsberget, which has the highest peak in the Funäsfjällen mountains. There are 17 slopes and the drop is 300 metres. But just nearby, another 100 slopes are waiting for a visit. If you prefer cross-country skiing, you will not be disappointed either...
Funäsfjällen, Scandinavia's largest ski area, receives an average of five metres of natural snow in a typical winter. The conditions for fantastic winter seasons are therefore virtually unlimited. If you don't want to go downhill, there are other options. 300 km of ski trails and 610 km of snowmobile trails take you out among high mountains, birch forests and down winding valleys.
Funäsberget is located right by Funäsdalen village. It is therefore possible to ski all the way to the grocery store after a full day on the slopes.
